Do not listen while driving or operating heavy machinery.
Preparation: Find a comfortable resting position somewhere you won’t be disturbed. Set up your rest nest (use pillows, blankets, and maybe an eye pillow). Make sure you are comfortable and warm as the body temperature tends to drop when we rest. Close your eyes if that feels safe.
After: Please allow yourself time to come back to everyday consciousness after practicing yoga nidrā. It can also be helpful to journal about anything that may have arisen during your practice.
