TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Welcome to NIDRISTA. These Terms & Conditions (‘Terms’) govern your use of www.nidrista.com (the ‘Website’) and the services offered by NIDRISTA, including yoga nidrā recordings, memberships, private sessions, classes, and gatherings.
NIDRISTA is a sole proprietorship registered in Sweden and operated by Johanna Andersson.
By purchasing a service, creating an account, or using our Website, you agree to these Terms, where applicable. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.
1. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully and respectfully, without interfering with its functionality, security, or other users’ access.
THE PORTAL and other services intended for adults and older teenagers are available to individuals aged 16 and over. Customers under 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to make a purchase or enter into a paid subscription.
2. Accounts and Memberships
Certain services, including THE PORTAL, require a customer account.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Memberships provide personal access to the digital content included in the subscription. Access is for individual, non-commercial use only and must not be shared with others.
Recordings in THE PORTAL are available for streaming only. Downloading, copying, distributing, recording, or redistributing this content is not permitted without prior written consent.
We may add, update, or remove recordings from the library over time. Any material changes affecting paid services will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
THE PORTAL is offered through monthly and annual subscriptions.
Subscription prices, billing intervals, and applicable taxes are displayed before purchase.
Subscriptions begin immediately and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. NIDRISTA does not directly store your full payment card details.
You can cancel your subscription through your Squarespace customer account by selecting Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation prevents future renewals. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for a billing period already started. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
4. Bookings and Services
Private sessions, classes, courses, and gatherings are subject to availability.
The duration, format, price, and any specific booking or cancellation conditions will be communicated before purchase or booking.
For online sessions, you are responsible for having a suitable internet connection and a safe, comfortable environment in which to participate.
If NIDRISTA needs to cancel a paid session or event, you will be offered an appropriate alternative or a refund, in accordance with applicable law.
5. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing services online, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
THE PORTAL Memberships
You have the right to withdraw from your membership within 14 days of entering into the subscription agreement, without giving any reason.
Your membership provides immediate access to our streaming library. If you expressly request that your membership begins during the withdrawal period, we may be entitled to charge a proportionate amount for the period during which the service has been provided, provided the applicable legal requirements have been met.
Other Digital Content and Services
Different withdrawal rules may apply to individual digital recordings, private sessions, classes, and other services, depending on their nature and the applicable legal requirements.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, please use our Withdraw from Contract form at www.nidrista.com/withdrawal or contact us at rest@nidrista.com.
We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal request without undue delay and handle it in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Where a valid withdrawal is made, any refund due will be issued within the statutory timeframe, normally within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights if digital content or services are faulty or not supplied as agreed.
6. Intellectual Property
All original content on the Website, including text, audio recordings, guided meditations, images, graphics, branding, and other creative materials, belongs to NIDRISTA or its respective rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a service or membership grants you personal access to the relevant content, not ownership of that content.
You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publicly share, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.
7. Health and Wellbeing Disclaimer
NIDRISTA offers yoga nidrā, relaxation, meditation, and complementary wellbeing practices.
These services are intended to support rest, relaxation, and personal wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, psychological treatment, or other professional healthcare.
Individual experiences and outcomes may vary. No specific therapeutic or medical results are guaranteed.
Please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional if you have concerns about whether a practice is suitable for you.
8. Privacy and Third-Party Services
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy: www.nidrista.com/privacy.
Our Website uses Squarespace for hosting and memberships, Stripe for payments, and Substack for newsletter subscriptions.
Newsletter subscriptions are completed through Substack and are subject to its applicable terms and privacy practices.
9. Availability and Liability
We aim to keep our Website and digital services available and functioning properly. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical difficulties, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to address problems affecting access to purchased services.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NIDRISTA is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, prevent misuse, or address a material breach of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Any suspension or termination of a paid service will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business operations, or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with its date of revision.
Material changes affecting existing paid subscriptions will be communicated where required by law. Such changes will not override your statutory rights or automatically alter an existing agreement where your consent is legally required.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable Swedish and European consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms restricts any mandatory rights or protections available to consumers.
